National Bronze & Metals Expands to Europe
Manufacturer & master distributor of brass, bronze, and specialty copper alloys widens its markets into Europe

From its corporate headquarters in Houston, Texas, National Bronze & Metals, Inc. (NBM) proudly announces the opening of its newest sales division in Paris, France. The new venture will officially be named National Bronze & Metals (Europe), SAS. Although NBM regularly does business with many companies in Europe, the new venture is intended to further broaden the channels for the supply of their material into this market. The plans for the near future will be to open a distribution center in southern France where inventories will be stocked and processing will take place to service customers with thier immediate and exact requirements.
At the helm of this venture for NBM will be Mr. Grégoire Aubry, formerly the Director in charge of Sales Operations and Marketing at LeBronze Industriel. “It is a great honor to join such a good team of talented people”, said Grégoire Aubry back from his preliminary trip to Houston, Texas. Mr. Aubry is a graduate of the ESSCA School of Management in France and finished his Masters degree in East-West business connections in Budapest in 1999. He then served as an Officer in the French Army. Upon completion of his military service, he joined the Lucchini group in Italy in the special steels division. He was then transferred in 2001 to the Paris branch of Ascometal as Export Manager in charge of German speaking countries and India. His next career step was with the Tokheim group as Sales Manager for the Asia Pacific region where he raised business in Indonesia, China and Singapore.
Grégoire then made the move to Le bronze Industriel in 2004 where he was appointed Exports Manager for Europe and Asia. By late 2005, he was made Executive Sales Manager, and nominated Geschäftsführer of the German subsidiary. And in 2007, he became Director in charge of Sales Operations and Marketing.
"We are truly looking forward to this new challenge," says Norman Lazarus, Senior Vice-President, "we know and see the potential available to us in the European marketplace, and have every confidence that Mr. Aubry is the right man to develop it for us, especially now that we are expanding our foundry in Lorain, Ohio!"
