NBM's Series of Seminars to Better Arm Your Sales and Purchasing Teams.
The last thing a sales manager wants from the inside sales team are robotic order takers. The last thing any purchasing manager wants from the agents are mindless paper pushers. Knowledgeable and motivated - characteristics of the perfect staff that every manager envisions, and National Bronze & Metals, Inc. (NBM) has taken on a proactive initiative to assist our customers in developing such teams.
Spearheaded by NBM's Outside Sales & Technical Manager, Andy Meese, and with the support of their own well-rounded staff, NBM has created a series of seminars focused on arming the sales and purchasing agents of our customers with the "must-knows" of the non-ferrous metals industry.
The topics of interest in these seminars range from a general understanding of continuous castings to the specific applications of specialty alloys. Over the past several years these seminars have proven to be extremely beneficial to many customers with the most benefit being realized in two instances:
- With distributors that focus on a particular aspect of the metals business, but are not nearly as versed in the complimentary alloys that they sell to complete their bread and butter orders.
- With purchasing agents that have found difficulty in finding alternative solutions to their production demands.
